Learn More about Golf at Dallas Cowboys Golf Club

Cowboys Golf Club is much more than a round of golf—it’s a uniquely Texas golf and entertainment experience. Created in partnership with the Dallas Cowboys, it is the first and only NFL-themed golf club in the world. A recent multi-million-dollar renovation has transformed the property with redesigned greens, bunkers and tee boxes, creating an enjoyable challenge for golfers of all skill levels.

The experience extends well beyond the 18-hole championship course. The new driving range features game-used turf from AT&T Stadium and Toptracer technology, while an 18-hole putting course adds a fun, social element to the day. Dramatic elevation changes, tree-lined fairways, excellent course conditions and all-inclusive amenities make the golf memorable, while upgraded dining and gathering spaces make it a great place to relax afterward.

Whether you’re a serious golfer or simply looking for a fun afternoon, Cowboys Golf Club offers a distinctly Dallas experience. The golf course is just one mile away from the Hilton Hotel.  Transportation not provided.

Learn More about the Pistol Range Experience

Group 1 – Beginner Experience (5 Firearms, 5 Lanes)

Following the general safety briefing, this group would receive an additional 30-minute classroom session covering:

  • Revolver and semi-automatic pistol mechanics
  • Safe loading and unloading procedures
  • Grip, stance and trigger control
  • Basic range etiquette and confidence-building

The beginner group would then have approximately 90 minutes on the range after their training sessions. They will not mix with Group 2. There would be a set amount of shots at each station with sufficient safety staff assisting.

  1. Smith & Wesson Model 686 (.38 Special) or other (no 9mm)
  • Simple operation and very forgiving.
  • Loaded with .38 Special for light recoil.
  1. Glock 19 (9mm) the first 9mm they try (or other)
  • The benchmark modern striker-fired pistol.
  • Reliable, simple and easy to shoot.
  1. SIG Sauer P320 (9mm) second 9mm (or other)
  • Different ergonomics from the Glock.
  • Lets participants compare two of today’s most popular service pistols.
  1. Smith & Wesson M&P 2.0 (9mm) third 9 mm, beginning to get familiar (or other)
  • Another major polymer-framed platform.
  • Excellent trigger and ergonomics.
  1. Colt or Springfield 1911 (.45 ACP) (or other)
  • The classic American pistol.
  • Gives participants a chance to experience the iconic .45 ACP. Bigger kick

This progression moves from the easiest handgun to operate through three of the most common modern semi-automatics before finishing with the legendary 1911.

Group 2 – Experienced Shooters (9 Firearms)

Following the general safety briefing, this group would move directly to the range for approximately two hours. They will not mix with Group 1. Rather than continuous instruction, participants would shoot independently while instructors supervise the range and provide assistance as requested. This might include helping someone with an unfamiliar firearm or answering questions regarding operation, safety, loading and unloading.  Participants would rotate through the firing lanes in groups of approximately four shooters. Rotations would occur at regular intervals using a whistle or other range command so everyone has the opportunity to shoot a variety of firearms.
