This course covers the basics of small diameter HDPE, including sizing, materials, and installation. You will also learn about the latest technologies and techniques for working with small diameter pipes. This is a great class taught by the experts from McElroy. Registration is in addition to the Showcase base fee. This is always a popular class and space is limited. Passing a test is a requirement to obtain your fusion card.

4710 Resin: Art or Science?

Abstract: Dr. Rohtagi holds several patents on 4710 resin and speaks eloquently on how the resin and pipe have evolved over the years. A unique selling proposition of our product is that it has matured and evolved over time to be a more responsive and solution-oriented pipe. Vik does a great job of explaining advances in a meaningful way so you can sell against the other materials with greater confidence. Issues covered will include: cracking, chlorine resistance, cell classification, slow crack growth, pipe wall thicknesses, low slump resin, material testing and what is on the horizon.
