Jared Svagera earned a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from UNL and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dayton. He started his Asset Management career at Mercury, a renewable energy company in New Zealand. He returned to MUD in 2019, having worked there prior to Mercury, to work in the newly formed Infrastructure Integrity team. He is now the Director of Infrastructure Integrity and is the program lead for linear asset management including condition assessment and infrastructure replacement. Jared is a registered professional engineer in the state of Nebraska and a Certified Energy Manager.
